I tried the low-carb bagel at Noah's.
The Good:
30g of protein(!)
20g of carbs
Resembles bread-like product
The Bad:
Too fluffy
Does not toast well
Somewhat bland tasting
Man, screw low-carb. Eat what you're gonna eat, and suppliment it with protein shakes. You may not like those carbs, but they keep you from getting gout.
Posted by: vivek at February 5, 2004 10:22 AMYikes, I don't want gout. I eat a lot of carbs in the morning actually - ceral & these bagels post workout. I also take in a lot of protein now (at least 120g/day), through shakes and bars, and it's been working. I've gained 4 lbs of muscle this month.
Posted by: G at February 5, 2004 10:31 AMOh, I have a workout question for you. Is there anything I can do that's similar to a reverse fly, given that there's no reverse fly machine or cable setup? Basically, there's just freeweights and benches.
Posted by: Vivek at February 5, 2004 03:19 PMI was thinking that the only way you can do revers flys was to crouch over somehow with free weights. Indeed such an exercise exists. You can do this crouch, or lean forward on an incling bench.
