I asked Natalie out for a 2nd date. She hasn't replied yet. She's very polite, so I'm sure she will reply. I just don't know if it'll be in the affirmative or not.
Posted by G at January 20, 2004 09:24 AM | TrackBackIf you did it over email, maybe she's following the silly wait-a-couple-of-days rule like many of us fools do.
Posted by: Al at January 20, 2004 06:00 PMWe'll see. I asked her out for this weekend. She sleeps during the day and works at night, so I don't really know when to call her. Like I would anyways, I hate talking on the phone.
Posted by: G at January 20, 2004 08:08 PMIs she from LA? There are certain dating-rules for LA-types which are totally retarded but involve a step-by-step prescription for how many days to wait between contacting/responding. Truly stupid, but it seems to be more appararent the older you are, and the longer you live there.
Posted by: lesley at January 21, 2004 06:25 AMShe's from Atlanta, and has only been in LA for 9 months. So there's still hope. This city hasn't made her jaded quite yet.
Posted by: G at January 21, 2004 06:30 AMShe just said yes. She wants to make it a Sunday. Is this the date that I have to make a decision about whether or not I want to continue seeing her or not (in a romantic capacity)?
Posted by: G at January 21, 2004 09:38 AMNo way, bro. You're just having fun at this point. If/when she starts pushing for it to be romantic and you don't feel the same way, then you have to make a decision. But in the meantime, just enjoy yourself and see where things go. My $0.02
Posted by: Al at January 21, 2004 11:27 AMWasn't your first date like a month ago?
Posted by: Vivek at January 21, 2004 12:37 PM6 weeks ago. I like to move fast.
