I'm sure everyone wants to know if Michael Jackson showed up last night. I'll get right to it - he didn't. He was in Las Vegas shooting a video for the last two weeks, and didn't get it done in time to attend. He finished it only about 2 hours into the awards show last night. He taped his acceptance and sent it in.
It was still an absoloutley fantastic show! I'll link up photos when they get them done. I bid on a pair of 2004 Grammy tickets (in NYC) in the silent auction. The tickets were bronze seats, not available to the general public, and retail for $750 each. Bidding for both started at only $400. By I stopped bidding after the price went up to $700. I think there was a guy hanging around them near the end of the night upping everyone's bid by $10. So I came away empty handed. But Ying bid and got a 4 night stay at a 13 acre private ocean-view home in Costa Rica for $800. The house accomodates up to 6 people, so it was a steal.
