I received a new iron ring in the mail today. So it only took them 4 weeks, not bad. They just stuck it onto a letter with a piece of scotch tape and mailed it in a regular envelope. So much for ceremony.
In the letter they wrote: "our records indicate a size 5.5, but as requested we are sending a size 5" and "Thank you for your payment of $25" - yeah, that was USD, biatch. And why are you thanking me, was it an optional payment?
Anyway, it looks like a new ring, not some dead guy's. And it's strange looking since I can see two distinct colours on it - a very dark gray in the middle with slightly more silvery dents on the sides. My last ring was mono colour silvery.
I feel Canadian again. Although, I had really gotten used to not wearing a ring, so it feels odd. And the only guys who wear pinky rings in LA are homosexual.
