There is, understandably, a lot of anxiety about the election on Tuesday. Glog, on the other hand, is not anxious at all, but excited. We predict Kerry will win in an (electoral) landslide. Down here in Thousand Oaks, the affluent, white, Christian suburb of Los Angeles, you would think that every white person with a latte driving to soccer practice would be for Bush/Chenney. But a not-so-scientific polling by Glog based on bumper stickers and property signs would indicate otherwise. Kerry/Edwards'04 is everywhere.
It's interesting to note that this is a relatively new phenomenon. Only since the presidential and debates have Kerry/Edwards sticker sightings become the rule, not the exception. For a long time it was considered boderline treasonous to be anti-Bush. As the election creeps closer, people are coming out of the closet and saying it's time for change.

But man - I'm watching coverage right now and I can't believe how close it is. Currently Bush is in the lead. What is wrong with the people of this country? They're desparate spouses who get cheated on and lied to over and over again, but they keep forgiving. I don't get it.
