I got an email today from the Dept. of Industrial & Systems Eng. at USC inviting me to orientation for the fall semester. I haven't received any official letter or email (and on-line application tracking is down at the time of writing) stating that I have been accepted. So I wonder if this means I've been accepted?

On two conditions: maintaina a B average for 5 courses, and provide original undergrad transcripts (which I already mailed them...). Whatever. It's bittersweet because it costs so damn much to go there, and I'm still not sure if the program is right for me. I checked out some webpages of students enrolled in the same program and they seem like a bunch of wankers. I'll check out the orientation and see how it goes. I can always back out later before I pay them.
