After about three days, it's fairly easy for me to pop these things in and out. On the first day a contact seemed to escape and lodge itself inside my skull. I considred going to the ER, but basically ignored it. It later just rolled back to earth on it's own.
With the contacts on, my vision gets blury from time to time in the right eye. The contact must be rotating out of the proper alignment. Can this be fixed?
I've been wearing glasses since grade 7. And I just realized I really haven't seen myself in the mirror from say 5 feet away in focus without specs. I look into the mirror and wonder "who is this brown dude staring back at me?"
Posted by G at February 27, 2004 12:19 AM | TrackBackA piece of advice: don't have a shower with your contacts on. After years of glasses, you get used to the blurry greyness of the bathtub. You don't need to see that the greyness is actually a layer of hair and dried shampoo.

I think you're not supposed to shower with them on anyways, just like you're not supposed to swim with them on.
Actually, I did shower with my contacts on once. And my bathtub is pretty clean, surprisingly.
