Superbowl

I'm sure in Europe, Janet Jackson's breast wouldn't have been such big news as it is here. CBS is apologizing, saying they didn't even know that was going to happen. Even Justin had to apologize and blame it on a "wardrobe malfunction"(?) Yeah, right.

UPDATE: Check out EVERYTHING on The Drudge Report. A+ for the creative piercing, Janet. Now, the real question is, are those real or fake? Well, I guess we only saw one, but I think it's safe to extrapolate here.

At least you did not have to suffer through canadian commercials. We had this Dana Carvey "lame", I mean, "Lays" commercial.

I think the FOX television network bought both Justin and Janet, so CBS never gets rights to the superbowl again.

Who cares if Janet's breast gets exposed or not? It's anatomy--that is all it is. I don't see the big deal. Don't people teach their kids about anatomy? Don't women have the right to go bare-breasted in Canada, if they so desire? Aren't celebrities of every age plastered on the magazines in every store and public area one could imagine? Aren't kids exposed and bombarded by these images anyway? Who is the saint that is going to cast the first stone at her? Check out Britney Spears, Christina Aguillera, JLO, Jessica Simpson, Beyonce, Tony Braxton, Pink, Madonna, Pamela Anderson. What of the recent Golden Globe Awards or whatever it is called (who the hell cares.) It's not even real anatomy, it's plastic and silicone. Everyone looks at a manequin at some time and this is really no different. The worst case? It is one breast, decorated---whoopi, it's not supersized like Dolly Parton's and it sure as heck isn't a big deal to me nor my 10 and 12-year-old kids. Grow Up America, you live it, you wear it, you crave it, now you are surprised by it?

Well, I think we can all agree taht Janet's breast was very nice to see and quite harmless in and of itself. Personally, I thought it was a good show. Anything to keep your mind off loser Justin Timberlake. I think what most of America is in an uproar about was the context of the "flashing". On national TV on supposedly a family show, one could say that the breast was inappropriate, or the dipicted violence against women (now little boys will run around the school yard and rip off pieces of girls clothing). I think that's essentially the issue. What I don't like is the FCC launching an investigation into it... Why spend tax payer's money on that crap? We all know what happened, we know it's a violation of oublic broadcast standards. So fine them already, No need to investigate. CBS has to take responsibility and pay up, regardless wether they knew or not. Spend taxpayer's money on investigating Bush's imaginary WMD claims already.

whats the big deal at the superbowl? Seein Janet Jackson's boob I thought was a change that we should see every year. Janet has a great body with amazing breasts, and to see her nipples won't hurt. I'm sure a lot of people agree with me that seeing Janet have a nipple slip is a very nice sight and i think we should see someones nipples every year, especially if whoevers nipple we see is as big as janets nipple.

Agree with Margaret. Not that I find the show wholesome, but if those screamers really care about the moral condition of America (or does it even exist?), I believe they could and would have done a lot about it long ago. Hypocrites are far more dangerous than boob-flashers. So to many of the false puritans out there, cut the act. We're all tired of this
