ADHD

I'm tryng to study for the GRE right now. This is terribly difficult to do when one has ADHD like me.

Apparently, when the indvidual numbers of an integer add to a multiple of 9, then 9 is a factor of that integer (like 342)! I never knew that before. I went through university without knowing that. Looking back, I think that piece of info would have helped. I must have been absent that day in grade 5.

On a side note, the best In-n-Out fast food location is off sepulveda, right before LAX. This restaurant is located right in front of the runway. You can eat here on their patio and watch airplanes land directly over your head, only about 100ft up.

Why the GRE, and not the GMAT?

Cuz I ain't going to B-school. Will try out an engineering management degree at USC, which is an MS, and the GRE is required to apply.

How are you studying? I bought the Kaplan's and Princeton books (both with CD's). I only used the Kaplan one. It was fun -- as fun as studying can be -- and worked really well.

I got the Kaplan book too. And yes, the CD is quite fun to use. I just hope it's effectivce. A lot of questions seem so easy.

The main thing with the GRE is not necessarily the difficulty of the questions. It's really about finding out if you can answer a high volume of questions in a short time, without making any mistakes.

All the questions are dead simple if you have a couple of minutes to think things over. But in reality, you'll have like one minute.

The verbal test is pretty killer, and the essay is also hard -- mainly because the topic they give you is always non-controversial, and thus hard to form an argument on.
